If you are new to the Learning Portal, you will need to create an account. You will need to obtain a custom URL web address from your institution’s Training Administrator in order to self-register.

Step 1. Visit the custom URL web address provided by your institution’s Training Administrator.

NOTE: If you are prompted to enter an Access Token or Affiliation ID, you will need to contact your Training Administrator for an updated custom URL web address.

Step 2. Scroll down to Registration and enter in your First Name, Last Name, and Email/Username*.

 *Note: Your email address will serve as your Username.

 

Step 3. Your institution’s Training Administrator may require you to input additional information in Optional Field 1 and Optional Field 2, otherwise these fields can be left blank.

Step 4.
Click Register.

Step 5. Upon clicking Register, you will receive a thank you message noting your account has been created and an email has been sent with your temporary password.

Step 6.
Log into your email and open the email with the subject “Learning Portal Account Creation Notification” (see sample below). This email contains the following information:

  • Your username (same as your email address)

  • Your temporary password

  • A link to login and set a permanent password

  • A diagnostic link to test your system to ensure it meets the Learning Portal requirements*

  • The phone number for free Help Desk support

*Note: We strongly recommended clicking on the diagnostic test link highlighted below prior to launching any of the courses within the Learning Portal.

Step 7. Within this email, click on the hyperlinked here or visit learn.ue.org to log in and change your password.

Step 8. Under Login, enter in your username and password as listed in your email. Click Login.

Step 9. Upon your first login, you are required to create a new permanent password and identify a secret question and answer for your account. The secret question and answer will be utilized in the event your password needs to be reset. Complete the following fields: Temporary Password, New Password, Confirm New Password, Secret Question, and Secret Answer. Click Change Password.
